Trees

A tree artist is simply someone who enjoys drawing or painting trees either in isolation or within their landscape. Andy Roberts is inspired to draw trees found in the countryside surrounding his home town Sandbach, Cheshire and further afield. Working from life and photographs, he aims to capture their unique character, including how they have been shaped by the elements using pencil, charcoal, ink and other materials.
