As a figurative artist, I don't always aim to capture a likeness, preferring to focus on creating expressive drawings, often adopting an unusual perspective. I work from life and photographs. Whilst often drawing family and friends, I also draw others from memory and imagination using charcoal, pencils, ink, pastels and paint.
